Having problems with your 1993 Plymouth Laser ?

Missing belt. My plymouth Lazer is missing a belt. How can i figure out exactly what the belt it is missing does?

Answers :

Belts drive the power steering, alternator, air conditioner, & possibly the water pump. If the battery light is on then it is the alternator belt. If it is hard to steer it is the P/S belt. If the A/C does not cool it is the A/C belt. Lastly if it overheats it is the water pump belt. Normally one belt will drive two of these components. A serpentine belt will drive them all.
Follow the line off the pump missing a belt. It should eather be Altenator, Water pump, Power steering,
