Having problems with your 1993 Pontiac Sunbird ?
I dont know where to find starter on 93 pontiac sunbird and how to repalce it as well somewhat mechanically inclined and have own tools but never worked on a gm before this
Answers :
Easiest way to find any starter is to follow the positive battery lead...it always goes to the starter. As far as r&r, if you need instructions get a chilton or haynes ...instructions are simple but too long to write out. If you have some experience, just remember to disconnect the battery before working on the starter, unbolt it and take it out! (move anything in your way) And, my standing recommendation is as always, do some testing with a decent volt meter to verify that the starter actually needs replacement and that battery has full voltage, ground is good and that the main lead has voltage and the trigger wire is getting voltage when the key is turned.
