Having problems with your 1993 Pontiac Sunbird ?

93 sunbird not running it appears that it not getting charge to the coilpack.what could cause that ?

Many things can cause the problem...START HERE
\015\0121st) pull the codes from the OBD 1 system (see the link)...if you get a code 19...then suspect the Crank Angle Position Sensor Circuit...typically that means it is the sensor, but check the circuit first...these parts are expensive...I would replace that with only a new one...if you have to replace the coil and module that are made only as one unit (integral)...look for used with at least a 30 day warranty...but again,...start with retrieving the codes first...very simple to do...see this link...saves you from buying a tool...good luck.
