Having problems with your 1993 Saturn SL1 ?

I Have a 1995 Saturn SL.. Just had the alternatior changed out, and the battery is brand new and now it doesnt want to start or crank when it warms up. Everytime i turn the key over i hear a click.. could it be a starter?? Please let me know what it is soon, thanks... Kay

Could very well be the starter. The resistance is greater as the starter gets hot from the engine/exhaust. Commonly called Heat Soak. At times a boost from a jumber battery will start it due to the extra power.
\012A weak solenoid not being able to make a full pull will not allow the starter to engage.
Hello: Before you replace anything check the battery cables for corrosion and both being TIGHT. Use a 3/8 inch wrench to tighten the bolts on the cables. If the bolts are messed up you can buy replacement bolts (auto zone, advance auto, OREilly auto parts stores) Clean all corrosion off both cables.
