Having problems with your 1994 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 ?

1994 chevy 2500 i put it in the mudd and now i got to put it in low 1st to even take off then after i get about 20mph i can shift it into drive and it will catch 3 then 4 after that i havr no over drive
