Having problems with your 1994 Dodge Dakota Club Cab ?

94 dakota 5.2 - where is ''roll over'' sensor located on vehicle?

\015 ASD relay is not being grounded - can ground and energize manually. Swapped out new ASD with same result. Heard there is a roll over sensor that grounds ASD but don't know where to look and test. To my knowledge, the vehicle has never been rolled! \015\012\015\012Basic problem is no power to coil / injectors. Have replaced... crank position sensor, coil,cap- rotor- wires. Checked all fuses and fuseable links (under washer bottle) all OK. Got code 42 (open - shorted ASD circuit) in scan tool. Running out of hair to pull out - help!!!!!!!\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 09-12-2019

Answers :

Un-plug the ecm " computer module " it should be under the hood by the passengers side on top of the fender.
\015\012it's a box with three connectors to it.
\015\012un-plug them all three for 5 min or so.
\015\012and plug them back up.
\015\012see if that helps to start it.
\015\012i had a 96 and i replaced everything and still will stall or have problems starting it up.
\015\012finally i un-plugged the computer and it will run fine for 15 or even a month without any issue, so my conclusion was that the ecm was bad.
