Having problems with your 1994 Ford F250 Supercab ?

Engine dies instantly on freeway

\015 I was just cruising down the freeway at 65mph and it just died. RPM dropped to zero. All other gauges were fine. No lights on, tried to crank it and it turns over and I do have power but it won't catch and start. Any ideas on what it could be?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 15-04-2019

There are many things that will cause a vehicle to quit. Lack of fuel and lack of spark are the 2 most common problems. A few possible issues here. Fuel pump, fuel filter, open wire circuit to the fuel pump, bad ignition module, ignition coil, distributor pickup coil, open wire circuits in ignition, relays. Need to eliminate either no fuel or no spark first then go from there.
SOUNDS LIKE YOUR FUEL PUMP DIED , LOCATE IT AND GET SOMEONE TO TRY START THE CAR WHILE YOU CHECK THE PUMP FOR ANY SIGN OF LIFE.
