Having problems with your 1994 Ford Thunderbird ?

My key would often not come out of the ignition, I also was often not able to turn the key backward to run the radio. I get home one day and go to turn off the car and the key spun freely. I could not turn it off but I could turn it forward and get that double start sound. We replaced the Lock Cylinder and checked for burnt fuses. Now Head lights turn on, get the key warning in the ignition but the key still turns freely and will not turn on the vehicle and my radio and sun roof don't have p

Answers :

If you look under steering colum there is a rod that runs from key to modual at base of colum make sure good connections to rod.may need to repjace that modual
