Having problems with your 1994 GMC Safari ?

No fire in coil pack.

\015 My 1994 GMC Safari back fired really loud while I was driving it and then died. I have replaced the timing chain, plugs, wires, distributor, coil pack. Now the coil pack has no fire. What could be the problem?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 21-01-2019

Answers :

Was the timing chain damaged ?
Did you have spark from the coil before you replaced the other parts ?
Do you have battery voltage on the positive side of the coil with the key on and in crank mode ?
Is the coil wire not sparking, or are you not getting spark at the plugs ?
Is the distributor rotor turning when you crank the engine ?
