Having problems with your 1994 Jeep Cherokee ?

Low battery gauge indicated

\015 Battery gauge is low after jeep start....after driving/revving up engine past 3500 rpm...battery gauge goes back to a "normal indicator"is this the alternator not working properly....\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 06-04-2020

Not necessarily, this can also be caused by poor battery cable connections or a bad battery cable or a bad connection to the gauge or just a bad gauge.Check or have them checked first, and then have the alternator output tested,a voltmeter connected at the battery posts should measure 14.5 to 14.8 volts at an idle, any lower than this than the alternator is the problem.
Could be a bad battery, dirty battery connections. From what you state , the alternator seems ok.
\015\012To check it, however, you will need to remove it and take to your local auto parts store, as they can check it out for you.

\015\012My first route would be the battery connections and then the battery.
