Having problems with your 1994 Oldsmobile Bravada ?

Fuel pump not working. every few weeks pump qiuts working.let set for couple days starts working again.it was happening once got below freezing but today it was 6 degrees out ran allday fine then nothing. any advice?

It sounds like something is shorting or grounding out. If the temperature was affecting the pump itself, it would mean that water was freezing it stationary, which water in the gas is a major issue in and of itself. Most likely, there's a wire that's loose or corroded and it's intermittently causing malfunctions. The pump could be going bad as well, and is pretty likely. I personally do not suggest working on items as sensitive as a fuel pump unless you are a bona fide mechanic. A repair shop is most likely the best solution.\015\012
