Having problems with your 1994 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight Regency ?

There is no heat at all, almost like the air is on all the time. The mechanic said it was the panel for the digital climate control. could it be the thermostat? or something more simple and less expensive than a $400 fix?

Answers :

Check under the hood to see if the AC pump is running. If it is just unplug the wires that go to the pump, or see if there is a fuse for your AC and take it out. When the climate control panel goes it will sometime make the AC stay on constant. This will be a quick cheap fix, untill you are able to replace the panel.
