Having problems with your 1995 Chevrolet Blazer ?

Overwhelming smell of exust and fuel leak into my 95Blazer

\015 Whenever I have more then half a tank of gas, my blazer has an overwhelming smell of fuel. I am guessing that their is a leak somewhere, but I have no idea where to begin my search. How do I find the leak, and what do I need to repair one?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 30-11-2020

Answers :

One way to find the leak is to fill the tank above the level required to make it leak and then place a piece of cardboard under the entire tank and fill pipe. Where it drips on the cardboard will show where the leak is, if the is one. It is best to replace the part with the leak. If nothing leaks, then check the vent pipe for and obstruction.
