Having problems with your 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe ?
I put a new battery in the tahoe and now the truck still seems to not be getting a charge i traced the positive wire a black fuse box i think this might be my problem. i can't seem to be able to remove the top of fuse box any suggestions.
The first thing to do is disconnect the battery from the SUV ground side. Then you will need to lossen the belt off the enginge. In order to go that their should be a tension puller on the front that a simple rachet and socket will do. you turn that till it lossens the belt and slide it off the alternator. If it doesn't have tension pulley then the alternator has a bolt that you lossen it to get the belt off. After you get the belt off you need to dissconect the wires on the back of the alternator then you can take the two bolts out of the alternator and simple pull it off.
GOOD LUCK TO YA> as far as the fuse box under the hood you shouls have plastic tads that you prees in and pull up on the top of the fuse box to remove or the tabs are holdinf the top to the bottom fuse box and need to be snaped out the the top pops off not sure on this yr. also dont be too hard on the tabs they can break i use a flat head scredriver to pry mine off...
