Having problems with your 1995 Ford Taurus ?

Location of the oxygen sensor

\015 Could you tell me where the oxygen sensor is located on 3.8 v-6 motor 1995 Ford Taurus. Also will I need to put my car on a lift in order to replace it?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 18-10-2021

Answers :

Yes, you will have to lift your car to get at the O2 sensors (which are on the exhaust pipe, and there should be more than one) but you don't necessarily need a lift.\015\012
\015\012Good luck!
There are two O2 sensors on this engine. Both are mounted in the exhaust just past the exhaust manifolds. You will be able to replace them without a lift. You will probably need an O2 socket to remove them. They usually are in pretty tight.
