Having problems with your 1995 GMC Sierra C1500 ?

Miss when it's cold and or wet

\015 It usually clears up, but most of the time not completely. I get an occassional "POP" out of the exhaust. One time the motor quit like some one turned the key, and I lost some of my accsessories but it started back up like nothing happened. I've changed the plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, ignition coil and ignition module. Please help. This has been going on for some time.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 17-06-2019

Answers :

I noticed you didnt say that you replaced the "pickup coil" when tested the resistance should read about .56 of an ohm. Also the distributor shaft bushings like to wear out in them. if you can take the shaft and move it around(causing the gap to change at the pickup coil and reluctor wheel) then you need a distributor replaced. most fuel issues will not cause a quick shutdown. they cause slow die-outs. Hope I helped. Thanks
