If it IS Leaking from DRAIN PLUG and You Can Not RE-TAP New THREDS into it ( REPLACE the OIL PAN) I Have never RE-TAPED Drain Plug Threds Because I Prefer Original Threds, So Any Customer wiht This Problem, I Advised them to Replace the Whole OIL PAN.
\015\012 This is What I Would do, The Oil Avalability Is CRUCIAL to The Engines Survival.
