Having problems with your 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee ?

Blinker problem Both my front blinkers work but both my back ones just went out. When that happened, the blinking is a lot faster now. The fuse, bulbs, and connections are all fine. The only thing I can think of is the multifunction switch inside the steering column which I don't want to try unless I have too. Any other possibles???

When I took the bulb out a second time to check for good connections and re-inserted it, it worked for the left blinker. I tried the the same thing for the right blinker but found that if I had to slightly twist the bulb in the socket for it to work. I removed the bulb, gently moved the metal connections out a little further (making sure not to break the lead) with a screwdriver and re-inserted it. That worked. Since I drive down a lot of dirt roads that are bumpy, I may have to repeat this if the connection comes loose.
