I have a 1999 jeep grand cherokee laredo and it starts for a few seconds and then turns off

Check fuel pressure with a gauge at engine
KO/EO

You have to determine what you have or what your loosing

Spark or Fuel etc

Most likely going to need wiring diagrams to learn the system
you need to test
You will need a data scan tool to monitor your sensors. You can start with a fuel pressure test and make sure it's within specification. Otherwise it may be a tps or another sensor causing this issue.
