Having problems with your 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee ?

AS ALWAYS. Loud noise coming from front differential.

\015 Started out just a low growl and dissappeared when you let off the gas. Now it is continuos. Put it up in the air and checked with steth a scope. Noise coming from front differential or traveling from wheel (driver side) also while off the ground, running, give it gas and the front right wheel turns all the time but drivers slows down to a stop until you give it more gas...Im a race car builder 2 wheel drive only., and this one has me stumped. Mechanic said $1400.00 to fix, but would'nt tell me what it was. HELP\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 25-10-2021

Answers :

Have you change the differential fluid? If not,That's a good place to start. If you have, you may need to repack or replace the wheel bearings.
