Having problems with your 1995 Jeep Wrangler ?

I have a 97 wrangler with 4cyl that wont start. Drove it in the garage and 2 weeks later, went out and it turns over fine but doesnt even try to start. I checked fuses, fuel to injectors, for loose wiring. I had no spark, and when the ign is turned on I can feel the ASD (auto shutdown relay) click. I replace the PCM computer, still wont start. Any ideas?? Dickniehu531

If you're not getting spark, then your ignition coil is bad. Everything else will work, but this is what fires off to the plug wires to the plugs. You should have a coil pack or a distributor cap. If the rotor or the distributor cap are carbon marked badly then this is something to check out. If the rotor don't make contact with carbon pins under the cap as it spins then you have no spark. A bad plug or wire would not keep it from starting.
Hi! Please replace the distibutor and rotors. If they are faulty it can cause no spark to the engine. I suggest that you replace the spark plugs and plug wires. Hope this helps and have a good one!
