Having problems with your 1995 Lexus LS 400 ?

Can't remove ignition key. I can start it, drive it, park it (and make sure the shift lever is in park), turn the car off, but the Key will not go past the ACC position when I turn it counter clockwise.

Answers :

Either you have a problem with the cable that connects the gear lever to the ignition or the steering lock has broke inside. But i seem to think that its more likely to be the cable
Try jiggling the wheel while pulling on the key sounds as if an obstruction is preventing it from releasing the lock mechanism or it may very well be in need of a new ignition switch ..
