How to set a timing belt

\015 I need to know how to set a timing belt for a toyota celica, 4 cylinder, 2.2?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 15-07-2019

Answers :

Factory timing for all 90-93 normally aspirated Celicas (ST, GT, and GT-S) is 10º before top dead center (BTDC). This means when the crankshaft angle of the number one cylinder reaches 10º, the spark plug will fire. It fires before it reaches top dead center (TDC) because the flame front takes time to fully combust and push the piston downward. this site might help u .http://www.toyotacelicaonline.com/timing.htm
