Having problems with your 1995 Mazda MX-6 ?

Is there a way to know if you have a park plug issue or spark plug wire issue?

To check a spark plug it must be removed from the engine. The insulator should be a light golden brown with no oily deposits. The gap should also be checked and compared to the specification in the owners manual or a repair manual. Spark plug wires can be tested with a spark plug wire tester. A tool that looks somewhat like a spark plug with a clear section in the middle and a clamp on one end. This tool gets plugged into a spark plug wire and clamped to a ground or the engine block. Start the engine and check for spark through the clear part of the tool. Also run the car at night or in a dark garage and check to see that none of the wires are raking.
BAD SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES WILL MAKE YOUR CAR HARD TO START.ALSO MAKE CAR MISFIRE RUN ROUGH.ENGINE WILL STUMBLE SHAKE IF PLUG OR WIRE NOT WORKING.A BAD FUEL INJECTORS WILL DO THE SAME IF DIRTY AND CLOGGED.IF YOU HAVING ANY KIND OF ENGINE PROBLEM DO A TUNE UP.IF ONE HAS NOT BEEN DONE IN A LONG WHILE,REPLACE SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES.REPLACE AIR FILTER AND FUEL FILTER,CLEAN FUEL INJECTORS WITH A CAN OF SEAFOAM BY POURING IN GAS TANK WITH 3/4 TO A FULL TANK.HAVING TIMING CHECK IF YOUR CAR IS NOT DISTRIBUTORLESS.WHEN YOU DO A TUNE UP THAT WAY YOU WILL KNOW IF CYLINDERS IS FIRING,BECAUSE PROBLEM COULD BE BAD SPARK PLUGS OR WIRES,CLOGGED FUEL INJECTORS AND FILTER OR ENGINE WORN CAUSING POOR COMPRESSION CAUSED BY WORN PISTON RINGS.TO SAVE TIME AND MONEY. DO A COMPRESSION TEST FIRST THAT WAY YOU WILL KNOW IF TUNE UP GOING TO BE WORTH IT.TIME AND MONEY.IF ENGINE FAILS COMPRESSION TEST THEN VALVES AND PISTONS WORN OUT.
