Having problems with your 1995 Mitsubishi Montero ?

Pajero 1993 3 door 2.8 turbo

\015 Hi, Please help with my brake problem. Brake warning light came on and pedal got very stiff. I suspected servo problem so checked vacuum at servo end of rubber pipe. Seems to be no vacuum at all (using finger to block pipe). Fluid level is fine. Can I do any tests to diagnose problem.\015\012\015\012Thanks in advance.\015\012\015\012Peter\015\012\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 11-11-2019

Answers :

Pajeros have a common fault, the park brake warning light, is also connected to the brake fluid reservoir, if the fluid level is ok, the rubber boot inside the cap may be down, and pushing down on the float sensor in the reservoir, push the boot back up into the cap, it should not hang down below the edge of the cap.
IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR VAC PUMP HAS FAILED IT SITS ON THE BACK OF THE ALT
