Having problems with your 1995 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight ?

The car heater won't heat up enough

\015 I have a 95 olds eighty eight, and the car heater doesn't seem to warm up enough . What do I set the dail on inside of the car? It doesn't show a heater setting. I have to drive at least 40 or fifty miles before it heats up. Thanks, MA\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 15-10-2018

Answers :

TRY GETTING A HIGHER TEMPERATURE THERMOSTAT. THAT WILL MAKE YOUR ENGINE RUN WARMER.
If the display is digital and is inop there is nothing to do but guess. Replacing the thermostat is also recommended being you have an extended driving time to get heat. FYI: If you have the orange engine coolant dubbed DEXCOOL you may want to get the system backed flushed and a standard coolant installed being the factory DEXCOOL has known issues with flow and clogging problems.
