Low pressure valve in Audi A4 1996

\015 I removed the low side switch and the A/C fitting in the tubing has a Schrader valve. Where can I buy an adapter that will allow me to hook up to my R12 to R134a gauge hose sets? Your recommendation better be a store or site where I can actually buy a conversion fitting\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 16-07-2018

Answers :

The 1996 A4 did not have a low pressure port, what I did on my A4 was put one, went to the junker, cut one from another car leaving 1.5 inches of pipe on both sides of the fitting. Open the pipe in the bottom, get a piece of rubber pipe, make a hole in the low pressure pipe in the car and clamp this with 2 hose clamps, recharge the system and done, works perfect.
