Answers :

The 96 Riviera has a motor mount that interferes with the removal and replacement of the serpentine belt. The motor mount must be loosened and the engine need to be lifted slightly to accomplish the replacement. Not good engineering on this model year.
It should be a serpentine belt (one belt runs everything) There should be a diagram under the hood showing how the belt goes. Find the tensioner, it will be a pulley not running anything. It is spring loaded to release the tension you look for a square hole it's usually 3/8 inch use a 3/8 inch socket wrench or breaker bar in the square hole and release the tension and pull the belt off thread the new belt on the same way and put it on the tensoiner last using the wrench again. Make sure the belt is seated correctly on all pulleys before you start the engine.
