Having problems with your 1996 Chevrolet Blazer ?

1996 chevy blazer ls s10 style

\015 I have no power to my truck whatsoever. The former engine that was in it went bad and the guy I just bought it from said he replaced it and there is no power no lights,NOTHING AT ALL happens ANY IDEAS WE CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT. We think it's a ground wire somewhere that's not hooked up right but can't find the problem. I know it has a 4.3 L vortec engine in it now\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 18-02-2019

Answers :

Check for a security system under the dash near the steering column. had the same problem with mine and removed the security system and it has worked fine since.
In the engine bay fuse box there is a big fuse called the Main Fuse. Check that first, can blow if the battery gets shorted out or something like that. Just an idea really, hard to diagnose without the vehicle in front of me.
