Having problems with your 1996 Chevrolet Camaro ?

Airbags deployed I purchased a 1996 Camaro with a 3800 series motor that hit a curb and the airbags deployed. I purchased replacement airbags from a salvage yard. Where can I find information and instructions for installing the replacement airbags? Can I use the current module with the replacement bags, or should I replace it with the module that came with the replacement bags? Is there a reset procedure necessary to be able to restart the car? Thanx, Tom

Answers :

You have to disconnect the battery, replace the air bag modules (air bag modules are the things that explode in your face) and the crash sensors and the control unit or module that came with it. Reconnect the battery and the car should start. Hope this is helpful.
