Having problems with your 1996 Ford Explorer ?

Coolant dripping from vacuum pump on a 1997 ford explorer.

\015 There is a vacuum pump connected to the hoses going into the fire wall. I can disconnect the hose from the pump and it quits dripping. I can move the vacuum lever up and it quits leaking. It leaks as soon as the lever on the pump drops down. Is the vacuum pump bad or is it something else. The fluid dripping appears to be coolant. It is a 6 cylinder engine. The vacuum pump is on the passenger side of the car about half way back - front to back of the engine.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 14-01-2019
