Having problems with your 1996 Jeep Cherokee Country ?

Gauges not working..

\015 The speedometer, tachometer, mileage, and gas gauge don't work. I've been told it would be wiring, and think that myself - but don't know where to look + I don't want to pay Jeep alot just to get it fixed if I could figure it out myself. I got a different dash for it, thinking that maybe the circuit board or w/e went bad or something but that wasn't the problem. So.. does anyone know a website that would display a picture - or even you giving me some advice on how to fix it would be terrific.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 14-01-2019

Answers :

Check your fuse box for lose wiring in the back and, check the fuses as well. if the problem still persist, then, check the cables on the back that run to the actual motor. these cables may have been severed due to age.
