In a manual transmission you have a plug on the side of the case. It will or could be on ether side about half way up. It can be a square drive or hex plug to remove it. Take the plug out and stick your small finger inside if you can touch fluid it is ok. You add fluid here also. You have to get under the car to access this plug, so be careful under there. Some of the plugs get tight with age. Get the best fitting tool you can find to try and loosen. If you do not or have not ever noticed a leak at your transmission, you do not need fluid, it does not consume fluid. Hope this helps...
Nothing showing in my alldata book on location of filler plug ,but if you look half way around the casing you will find it thats for sure
