Having problems with your 1996 Mercury Sable ?

I have the Sable wagon and the problem I am having is with the "door ajar/lights are on" warning bell. It won't stop. I had to disconnect the battery as that was the only way to stop it.

Answers :

There is a button switch on each door, open the door and push the switch in and out to see if it's hanging up, squirt a ittle WD40 on it and push it in several times on all doors. (after you reconnect the battery)
