Having problems with your 1996 Suzuki X-90 ?

25A heater fuse keeps blowing on Suzuki x90

\015 Hi\015\012\015\012The heater fuse (under the steering column) is continuously blowing each time I replace it with a new one. When the problem first started I just replaced the fuse which held up for almost 2 days. When this second fuse blew, I replaced it with a third which blew as soon as I pushed it into the slot as did the forth one. I'm now running with no climate control fan until I can get it to an autoelectrician.\015\012\015\012Not sure if its related but the dash area around the fan switch is really hot, almost too hot to touch, even when the fuse is not in.\015\012\015\012Thanks in advance\015\012\015\012ycn\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 14-10-2019

Answers :

It sounds like something is shorting out for the fan switch. I would take the dash apart and take a look to see if one of the wires is burnt and shorting out the fan switch. This is most likely the case.
