Having problems with your 1996 Toyota Camry ?

When i try to jumpstart my car i made a mistake on putting the positive to the negative. what would be the problem.. i cant start my car now even i already put a new battery

Chances are you cooked some of the major fuses in the car.
Take a test light or meter and check the major fuses first, then the smaller ones.
