Timing belt problems knowing when to change
Do a visual inspection of the belt. If it looks worn, checked, cracked, dry or frayed it is time to replace. There is a real cheap depth gauge that you can pick up at an auto store to check the wear. you could have them look at it for you and I am sure they would help out.
