A quick search on Google and I found that you can purchase a used one for around $100 (twice as much new). You'll also need to recharge the system. You can pick up canisters of r134a freon and PAG oil for about $15-$20 apiece. You'll need to look at your vehicles specs to see how many canisters you will need (may be listed under hood on sticker). You'll also need to get a recharge hose (approx. same amt. as canisters). As to where it is, it has a pulley on it, so you would need to follow the belts coming from the engine and find the one that has aluminum tubes connected to it.
$300.00 to $500.00 depending on the cost of the compressor. it's located in the lower left hand corner of the engine compartment of cousre it's mounted on the engine
