Having problems with your 1997 Chevrolet Blazer ?

1997 blazer has spark, new cam sensor, fuel filter..will crack over, but will not start. I tried starter fluid in the intake, and still does not start. any ideas?

\015 I can hear the fuel pump running. I also put a new battery in the vehicle. it only seems to start (every once in a while) if you turn the key, and release it immediately, 5 or 6 times.I am at my wits end trying to troubleshoot this suv, and my wallet is getting thin.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 18-06-2018

Answers :

Fuel pressure regulator probabaly flooding it when you turn the key forward it primes but the regulator just dumps to much fuel into the cylinders flooding the plugs pull a plug out after you try starting it if it dont start and see if there full of gas
CHECK HOW MUCH FUEL PRESSURE IS GETTING TO THE INJECTORS SOUNDS LIKE THERE MAY NOT BE ENOUGH TO MAKE THE INJECTORS FUNCTION PROPERLY, THIS CAN BE CAUSED BY THE PUMP OR FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR, IF ITS THE PUMP MAY BE CAUSED BY DAMAGE TO THE IMPELLER ON THE PUMP, THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HEAR THE PUMP BUT IT WOULD NOT BE GETTING ENOUGH PRESSURE TO THE INJECTORS.
