Having problems with your 1997 Chevrolet Blazer ?

1997 Blazer feels like I'm at a tractor pull when I take off

\015 I have a 1997 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl 4.3 and when I take off from a dead stop it feels like I'm pulling another car. When I'm under the hood, it sounds like its sucking air on the passenger side of the engine. I think its a fuel problem but it could also be an exhaust problem. either way its a rebuilt engine and I just want it to run like its supposed too. I just don't know what the problem is so I can fix it. Any advice or ideas would be helpful. Thanks\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 22-07-2019

Answers :

SWITCH IT BACK TO 2WHEEL DRIVE ON THE CONTROLS ON THE DASHBOARD
Check the exhaust back pressure, a muffler shop will do that at no charge most times, have Kragen do a emission system quick test as well, also test the fuel pressure, has the filter been changed?
