Having problems with your 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan ?

My fan made a funny noise and then stopped blowing on my 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan. What could it be?

I am assuming that it is the heater fan... ..
\012. the fan is loose and now is cocked to one side inside of the enclosure,,,if you take it apart and tighten the nut that holds the fan on the shaft,,, it may work again.... OR it may need a washer as it could be worn....
\012The nut could have come off the shaft and the screech you heard could be the fan coming loose.
\012Usually the fan enclosure is located under the hood on the firewall which is the little wall between the engine and the interior of the car.
\012Usually it is not too complicated to get to, not sure about the caravan though...
The fan motor could have gone out. Or some debris has fallen down from the outside air vents into the fan. The vents are usually located at the bottom of the windshield on the passenger side, (around the location of the windshield wipers).
