Having problems with your 1997 Ford Crown Victoria ?

Just changed Intake Manifold, now Crown Vic won't start

\015 Had the intake manifold blow out on the freeway (and this was the new one with the aluminum cross-over). I installed a new intake manifold, but now the car won't start. I must have missed something. It cranks and cranks but does not fire. I have check and it does have a spark. Even with started fluid, not firing.\012I did have to start it with the old manifold to get it up on a trailer. It started then, after a lot of cranking, and then it had almost no power. I had to constantly five it gas just to keep it running. Do I need a new engine?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 17-02-2020
