Having problems with your 1997 Honda CR-V ?

Exhuast system noise

\015 1997 Honda CR-V. The donut or gasket between the rear end of the front muffler and the pipe is gone. Are those regular bolts holding the flanges together? They are rusted so bad I can't tell.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 23-11-2020

Answers :

Just cut the bolts off with a sawzall, buy two new bolts and the donut and be done with it. Not worth the time to work on old bolts. Esp if you do not have a torch to heat the nuts.

Yes, They are Regular Bolts. Take some WD-40 and spray on the Bolts and let it set for about an Hour and Spray it on the Bolt heads and Wipe them off. You may need a Wire Brush for this also. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!
