Having problems with your 1997 Jeep Wrangler ?

My jeep sputters like it wants to die out but doesn't and no check engine light

\015 If I give it a little gas it would usually pick right back up but now it got worse. I just replaced the down stream O2 sensor before this started.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 15-07-2019

Two similar problems for me: (1) after 20min cool down jeep would sputter/buck due to bad o2 exhaust manifold sensor. The other was jeep would buck/misfire/lurch under certain driving conditions. I found that battery was sliding into computer wiring harness, disrupting sensor input/output signals. I cured this problem by placing a 1" spacer on rear battery clamp to push battery forward. This forever cured this problem (been years now and no problem).
Try new spark parts yet, called a tuneup.
