Having problems with your 1997 Nissan Maxima ?

1995 Nissan Difficult to start in hot weather.

\015 When the vehicle is hot, it will not turn over. The dash lights go on, but nothing. I keep turning the ignition key on/off many times, and then as if by a miracle, the vehicle starts up as if nothing was wrong. Battery is good, it functions well if parked in the shade, it is just when parked in the sun for an extended period.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 26-10-2020

Answers :

The reason it's starting after a few turns of the key is because when you're the ignition position, you're priming the engine to start. By priming it repeatedly, you're making it easier on the starter to catch when you finally try to turn the engine. I would first check the spark plugs and electrical wiring.
It has most probaly has a fuel problem or a electric problem in the engine.
