Having problems with your 1997 Pontiac Sunfire ?

Repair a stuck DRL relay on a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire? At least I think it's stuck. The DRL don't work but if I turn my lights on the low beams work and when I switch to high beams the passenger side doesn't work. We've tryed changing the relay but still have the problem?

Answers :

Passenger side high beam element burned out. DRL problem might be the emergency brake suppose to turn off when engaged. Slightly depressed will cause DRL not to work.
You like hundreds of other sunfire owners have a damaged wire harness for the front headlights. these harnesses are all bad. before you check the harness you should check the fuse box in drivers side of dash. you will see a fuse for headlight left and right make sure they are both good. if the fuses check out then you will have to check the wire harness that comes up between the frame and the windshield washer bottle behind the drivers headlight, it pinches and corrodes till lights loose power you will need to fix this harness for the lights to work, if high beams are the problem then the orange or blue wires will be the problem.
