Having problems with your 1997 Saab 900 ?

Fan in dash is screeching when ac is on. Could it possibly just need cleaned or should I replace it. Is it the fan motor?

Answers :

The screaching is comming from the fan's rotor bearing(s)...the whole fan needs to be replaced.
