Having problems with your 1997 Toyota Tercel ?

Can't keep the car running

\015 I have a 1997 toyota tercel. when i bought it i was having trouble keeping the car running (it kept losing power after only driving a short while), so i had the alternator replaced and this worked for about 2 minutes until it started blowing fuses. i thought there might be a wire grounding out so i went through and taped any and all loose wiring i could find. this did not help first the windshield wipers wouldn't work then it dies out but will start up with a jump. any idea what is going on?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 21-01-2019

Answers :

Make sure that the negative and positive leads to your battery are not switched. If that doesn't work you might need a new computer.
