Vw jetta timing belt problems

\015 Hi and thanks in advance for any help. I am working on the neigbors car it is a 99 vw jetta with a 2.0 liter engine. They brought the car to me because it was making an awful noise. after i looked into it i noticed that the timing belt was being pushed into the timing belt cover due to a small gear that was cocked a little sideways. I need to know what the name of this part is and also the firing order, location of the #1 cylinder, and plug numbers on the distributer. thanks again\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-07-2021
