I would say that it would have to have a short in your wiring somewhere? Something drawing the power out. Unless the batteries are bad? They are under warrenty. Should get full replacement. Turn the key off, take the radio fuse out and remove the light bulb from under the hood and shut the doors. Then unhook the cable touch it back to the battery and see if sparks when you touch it. If it does then try following all of the wires, starting wih the cable. It could be on it, where the clamp bolts it to the frame. If not try inspecting every wire you can get to. If they are good all the way to the fuse box. Then take one fuse out at a time and check for a spark, until you find which circuit is shorted out.
